What a quote commits us to, what the warranty actually covers, what happens if nobody is there when the van arrives, and how insurance claims are handled. Plain language, because terms nobody can read protect nobody.
These terms cover the use of this website and any auto glass work carried out by Dealer Auto Glass of Tucson. Booking an appointment, accepting a quote, or allowing a technician to begin work means you accept them. If something here does not work for your situation, call us at (520) 300-8531 before the appointment and we will sort it out.
Quotes are based on the vehicle details and damage description you give us. Year, make, model, and trim all affect which glass your vehicle takes, and a vehicle with a rain sensor, heated wiper park, acoustic interlayer, heads up display, or a forward facing camera takes a different part from the base version of the same car.
If the vehicle turns out to differ from what was described, or the technician finds damage that was not visible in a photograph, the price may change. When that happens you will be told before any work begins and you are free to decline. We do not start work and present a different number afterwards.
Mobile service is included at no additional charge throughout our service area in Tucson and Pima County. Appointments are given as an arrival window rather than an exact minute, because traffic, earlier jobs, and weather all move.
Urethane will not bond correctly to wet glass. If rain or a monsoon storm makes a safe installation impossible we will reschedule rather than fit glass that is likely to leak later. There is no charge for a weather reschedule.
Let us know as early as you can if you need to move or cancel an appointment, and there is no charge. If a technician arrives at the agreed address and the vehicle is not there, is inaccessible, or nobody can be reached, we may charge a call out fee to cover the trip. Glass ordered specifically for an unusual vehicle may also be non returnable, and we will tell you if that applies before ordering.
Where you ask us to, we will verify your glass coverage and file the claim on your behalf. We will tell you what your carrier has authorized and what, if anything, you owe before the work is scheduled.
Coverage decisions are made by your insurer, not by us. If a carrier declines a claim, authorizes a different part than expected, or pays less than the invoice, the balance remains payable by you, and you will always be told about it before work goes ahead rather than afterwards. Your choice of repair shop is yours to make.
Work paid for directly is due on completion unless we have agreed different terms in writing, which we do for fleet and commercial accounts. Insurance work is billed to the carrier, with any deductible or unauthorized balance payable by you on completion.
Every replacement we fit carries a workmanship warranty for as long as you own the vehicle. If something goes wrong with how the glass was installed, we come back and put it right. There is no claim form and no argument about it.
If your vehicle uses a forward facing camera for features such as lane keeping or automatic emergency braking, that camera must be recalibrated after the windshield is replaced. We will tell you when your vehicle requires it and what it costs.
Where a customer declines recommended calibration, we will note it on the invoice, and we cannot accept responsibility for the behavior of driver assistance systems on that vehicle afterwards. These systems assist a driver and never replace one.
Adhesive cure time varies with the product used and with temperature and humidity on the day. Your technician will tell you a specific safe drive away time before leaving. Driving the vehicle before that time can compromise the bond, and damage resulting from doing so is not covered by the warranty.
Please remove valuables from the vehicle before your appointment. Replacing broken tempered side or rear glass produces a large amount of small fragments. We vacuum thoroughly, but fragments can work their way into seat rails and trim over the following days, and we cannot accept liability for items left in the vehicle.
Our responsibility is limited to the cost of the work we performed. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost income, missed appointments, rental costs, or downtime on a work vehicle. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under Arizona law.
If you provide a mobile number and agree to be contacted by text, we may send messages about your quote and appointment. Consent is not a condition of purchase, message and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP at any time to opt out or HELP for assistance. Full detail is in our privacy policy.
Information on this site, including guidance in our blog articles, is general and is provided to help you make an informed decision. It is not a substitute for an assessment of your specific vehicle, and it is not legal or insurance advice. Your own policy documents and your carrier are the final word on coverage.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, and any dispute arising from them will be handled in the courts of Pima County, Arizona.
We may update these terms from time to time, and the version published here is the one that applies. Questions about anything on this page can go to Dealer Auto Glass of Tucson on (520) 300-8531 or through the contact page.
We would rather answer a question about the warranty now than have you find out what it covers the hard way later. Call and somebody who does the work will talk you through it.
